Heinz Braun

Born in Bochum, Germany. Soviet German actor. Graduated from the Polytechnic in Germany in 1939. As a lieutenant, he served in General Rommel's army in Africa during World War II, where he was wounded by an anti-personnel mine. After treatment in hospital, he continued to serve on the Eastern Front. After Soviet captivity, he lived and worked in the USSR from the 1950s.
