Vagelis Protopapas

Vangelis Protopapas (Tinos 1917 - May 21, 1995) was a Greek actor. He was originally from Messolonghi and was the son of a senior judicial officer. His father, Dimitrios Protopapas, a first-instance judge and member of parliament, intended him to be a lawyer, but in his first year of law school he decided to pursue a career as an actor, studying at the National Theatre School where he enrolled in 1937.
